There is also an option to share a pin with other players who have this addon installed. You can delete and edit markers in the map window by pressing left mouse button on a marker and selecting corresponding item from context menu. Then a dialog window will appear that allows you to enter the marker description. You can place them by typing a command in the chat window or by pressing 'x' key (default) when the map is open.
This addon allows you to place your own markers anywhere on the map.
